Hostiso was founded in 2010, offering hosting and domain services. Hostiso has 3 primary data centers in Montreal, Roubaix, and Singapore. They also have 4 secondary data centers in Buffalo, London, Frankfurt, and Sydney.
Hostiso keeps things simple; they offer a small selection of services with some great features. All of their products include a service level agreement. If they don’t meet their SLA, you’ll receive a credit to your account by way of an apology.

Hosting
Hostiso offers shared VPS, dedicated, and cloud hosting packages. I dug into each plan, and here’s what I found.
Shared Hosting
If you can pay for a year in advance, packages start at $3.99 per month. There are three plans: basic, business, and pro. All Hostiso shared plans include unlimited domains, free SSL and domain, and include cPanel.

When you compare the price of the plans with the features, you can see why Hostiso gets such positive reviews. Their offerings are very generous, and for what they don’t include, you can buy it separately.

One thing I will say is that they don’t provide much information. At a glance, I can’t tell how many email accounts I might have, for example. Even if I go ahead with one of the plans, no further information is provided.
In the future, I would like to be able to compare plans in more depth. Most web hosting providers offer a comparison chart to evaluate which pricing plan would be more suitable. If Hostiso could do this, it would get a big thumbs up from me!
VPS Hosting
As with most VPS hosting, there are two options: managed and unmanaged.
Managed:

Unmanaged:

For me, again, I don’t feel like VPS hosting plans are very transparent when it comes to pricing. Yes, there are some basic details and monthly pricing, but it’s hard to compare features.
From what I can tell, both VPS plans include SSD storage, choice of OS, DDoS protection and cPanel. If you navigate between managed and unmanaged, you are taken to different pages, which give you slightly different information.
VPS hosting is usually more expensive than shared hosting. On this basis, I would prefer to see clear information and a more professional approach to their plans. I have no doubt that the servers are powerful and come with a lot of features, but it’s hard to know what they are.
Cloud Hosting
Hostiso’s cloud hosting guarantees a 100% SLA. This is seemingly hard to come by in the hosting world, so it’s great to see this host offering it. As with all of their products, Hostiso’s cloud servers are set up in a matter of minutes.

Dedicated Hosting
Obviously, dedicated servers are more expensive. I think Hostiso is about average in this regard. Their servers are not the cheapest, but they are certainly not the most expensive I have seen. Their dedicated servers guarantee a 99.9% uptime SLA and are fully managed.

They all come with some pretty nice features, too, including:
- Free cPanel/WHM
- Free backups (daily, weekly and monthly)
- 24/7 premium support
- Free CDN, DDoS protection, and Ksplice
- 60-day money-back guarantee
Services
Hostiso offers affordable hosting solutions. They may not include as many features as other hosts, but they do offer additional services. At this point, I’m not sure how I feel about these features, given that hosting competitors often include these for free.
Customer Support
Hostiso offers 24/7 support to all its customers. Depending on the type of hosting you choose, you may also receive premium support. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what the difference between premium and standard support is, as it doesn’t state it anywhere.
You can contact Hostiso through their support ticket system. The responses are helpful and quick, which is good because there is no other way to get in touch with them. Their knowledge base, on the other hand, is packed with information.
I would have liked to see at least a live chat option for Hostiso. Given the amount of information that seems to be missing from their plans and services, talking to someone would be helpful. I’m sure they can keep costs affordable by excluding some support services. However, I would prefer to pay a little more and have someone on hand to talk to.
The Final Verdict
Hostiso is a reputable company that keeps its hosting solutions simple. If you are looking for affordable web hosting that can guarantee exceptional SLAs, this company is a great choice.
Although their reviews are positive and their features are appealing, I’m not absolutely sold on Hostiso myself. If they could expand on some of the information available about their hosting plans, I’m sure I would feel much more confident about what they can offer.

Performance-wise, their servers seem excellent. Considering they are not one of the “big boys” in the market, I honestly believe they are extremely competitive. However, some services, such as email filtering, should be included in their hosting plans. These are simple tweaks that could move a customer from not buying to buying.
Overall, though, Hostiso gets a thumbs up from me. They seem like a decent company with the right technology behind them. Maybe with a few more years of experience, they could compete with other players in the market with a little more muscle.
