For this reason, when considering a host, it is crucial that you always examine three metrics: speed, uptime, and average time to full load.
The speed of a host is typically measured using its first byte (TTFB), which is the time it takes for the host’s servers to deliver the first byte of data to the site user.
Uptime is simply the “uptime” of the hosting server, i.e., the consistency with which the host remains active in a given period of time. The industry guarantees 99% uptime.
Using GTMetrix, I ran a test on a website hosted at Hostens to get the overall performance, and the result was excellent.
